Food Safety – Brand Standards Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform evaluations that assess adherence to established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients.

• Monitor food preparation and cooking protocols to guarantee food safety, health, and sanitation practices.

• Collaborate with clients to identify the root causes of assessment inconsistencies and create corrective action plans.

• Educate and guide clients on how to foster a safer and healthier environment for themselves and their customers.

• Travel 50%-70%, or 8-10 days monthly, which may include some evening and weekend commitments.

• Conduct audits and inspections.

• Implement and oversee food safety measures.

• Train and educate staff members.

• Investigate food safety incidents.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Maintain proper documentation and records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fulfill the criteria to obtain a CP-FS certification.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with the possibility of Saturdays and evenings when necessary.

• Must have a valid driver's license from the state of residence.

• Hold any licenses or certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).

• Strong understanding of food safety principles is preferred.

• ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) are advantageous.

• Possess exceptional listening, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
