FM Manager, Audit Support – CPA

📋 Description

• Guidehouse is actively seeking financial management experts to support our Department of Defense client.

• These individuals will contribute a diverse range of experiences in financial management, accounting, auditing, internal controls, and financial policy.

• The Guidehouse team will offer: Expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), as well as DoD financial management policies, procedures, and organizational structures.

• Services related to financial audit statements and audit readiness.

• Insight into current trends aimed at improving compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).

• Assistance with the DoD financial statement audit remediation, sustainment strategy, execution, oversight, reporting, and audit infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; approved adjudication of clearance is required prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.

• Preference will be given to candidates who already possess an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.

• A minimum of EIGHT (8) years of general financial management and accounting experience.

• At least 5 years of this experience must involve auditing financial statements for federal government agencies or preparing such agencies for audits.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.
