Flood Claims Examiner – Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Articulate the coverage of loss and relevant policy provisions to policyholders.

• Ensure consistent follow-up on claims with adjusting firms and policyholders to manage expectations regarding the claims process.

• Investigate, assess, and resolve claims within the specified authority level.

• Adhere to internal best practices while implementing policy language, FEMA regulations, and rules.

• Demonstrate the ability to achieve results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Responsible for liaising with Public Adjusters and Attorneys concerning complex claims and coverage matters.

• Review estimates up to $1 million, assess intricate commercial claims, and evaluate contents inventories.
