Fleet Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations of customer fleet management

• Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, readily available, cost-effective, and meet customer specifications

• Supervise vehicle maintenance, compliance, vehicles off road (VOR), rental vehicles, accidents, and breakdowns

• Serve as the primary operational liaison for customers and suppliers

• Foster trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

• Oversee supplier performance, onboarding processes, governance, and review meetings

• Identify opportunities for service enhancements and reductions in operational costs

• Track fleet-related expenditures, customer spending, vehicle pricing, supplier expenses, and network costs

• Generate reports, forecasts, operational updates, and data insights

• Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Maintain precise fleet records and documentation in compliance with GDPR regulations

• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Account Management, Customer Service, and supplier networks

• Provide fleet expertise to Critical Operations Managers and the broader operations team

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in fleet management, fleet operations, or a comparable operational setting

• Experience in managing intricate fleet operations and vehicle compliance standards

• Knowledge of supplier performance management and service delivery frameworks

• Demonstrated experience in managing supplier and customer relationships

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities

• Capability to analyze operational data and recognize areas for improvement

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities

• Experience working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

• Valid UK driving license
