
Fleet Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the daily operations of customer fleet management.
• Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, readily available, and cost-efficient.
• Serve as the main operational liaison for customers and suppliers.
• Handle vehicle maintenance, compliance issues, off-road vehicles, rental vehicles, incidents, and breakdowns.
• Evaluate supplier performance and cultivate supplier relationships.
• Provide operational reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Identify opportunities for service enhancements and operational cost savings.
• Foster relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assist with supplier onboarding and governance tasks.
• Facilitate review meetings with suppliers and clients.
• Monitor fleet expenditures and pinpoint cost-saving opportunities.
• Aid customers in managing in-life expenses and vehicle pricing strategies.
• Analyze supplier and network costs to suggest efficiency improvements.
• Ensure accurate fleet records and documentation comply with GDPR standards.
• Generate reports, forecasts, and operational updates.
• Supply data and insights for operational decision-making and ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Account Management, Customer Service, and supplier networks.
• Experience in fleet management, fleet operations, or a related operational field.
• Proven track record in managing complex fleet operations and vehicle compliance standards.
• Knowledge of supplier performance management and service delivery frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in managing supplier and customer relationships.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Capability to analyze operational data and recognize improvement opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Valid UK driving license.
