Fishing Guide – LLMA, Lac La Martre Lodge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Leading guided fishing excursions for guests while ensuring their safety and compliance with fishing regulations.

• Proficiency in navigating large bodies of water is beneficial.

• Promoting and enforcing safe boating practices during fishing trips.

• Assisting with the unloading of float planes and ensuring the safe delivery of equipment and supplies.

• Participating in general camp responsibilities, including maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.

• Instructing guests on fishing techniques and providing assistance as required.

• Familiarity with local flora and fauna to enhance the wilderness experience.

• Maintaining fishing equipment and ensuring its proper operation.

• Upholding environmental conservation practices during fishing activities.

• Delivering excellent customer service and crafting memorable experiences for guests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred proven experience as a fishing guide.

• Comprehensive knowledge of sport fishing techniques, equipment, and regional fishing regulations.

• First Aid and CPR certification required.

• Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) necessary.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Physical fitness and capability to work in outdoor conditions.

• Successful security clearances are necessary; obtaining a copy of your criminal record check is recommended when applying.
