First-Person Video Data Collector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Capture real household or commercial physical tasks from a first-person viewpoint using a smartphone mounted securely on your head.

• Document continuous task sequences from beginning to end while either standing or walking.

• Record activities such as laundry, cleaning, organizing, plant care, warehouse operations, janitorial services, or maintenance tasks.

• Position the smartphone at eye level, angling it approximately 45 degrees downward to ensure hands, objects, and feet are within view.

• Maintain smooth, natural movements, optimal lighting, and stable 1080p+ landscape video quality.

• Upload recordings via the specified application.

• Fill out task logs through the project portal.

• Enable automatic video uploads and provide proof of task completions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Latin America (LATAM).

• Intermediate English proficiency (B1+) to comprehend detailed specifications and guidelines.

• Smartphone compatible with 1080p+ landscape recording: Apple iPhone 12 series or newer (excluding 16e/17e), Samsung Galaxy S21–S24 series, or Google Pixel 6–9 series.

• Head-mounted phone strap or a suitable head mount to secure the phone at eye level.

• High-speed internet connection necessary for registration and automated video uploads.

• Recordings must be made while standing or walking; seated recordings are not permitted.

• Must provide stable 1080p+ landscape footage with excellent lighting.

• Hands must remain in the frame during active handling.

• Avoid recording confidential documents, screens, or individuals without consent.

• An application must be submitted with an active email address.

• Account setup, app registration, organization-code entry, and device validation must be completed.
