
Fire Protection/Plumbing Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Collaborate with senior design team members to enhance plumbing and fire protection design expertise
• Generate construction documentation and develop project specifications
• Assist in assessing existing building conditions and creating technical reports
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure efficient project completion
• Utilize Revit software to create drawings and visual representations
• Prepare project progress reports for stakeholders
• Manage personal hours using company tools
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering, demonstrating a strong understanding of engineering principles
• At least three years of experience in mechanical or fire protection engineering
• Familiarity with the design of mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systems
• Knowledge of codes, code analysis, and specifications relevant to mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systems
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experienced in performing and analyzing hydraulic calculations
• Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows, optimize operational processes, and support company-wide innovation
• Effective communication skills in both oral and written formats (technical and non-technical information)
