Fire Damper Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections of fire dampers and ventilation systems

• Execute fire damper inspections and drop testing

• Clean commercial kitchen extract systems in accordance with TR19 Grease standards

• Carry out ventilation cleaning tasks

• Detect and report any defects

• Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and to a high professional standard

• Team Leader: supervise the on-site team, manage productivity, uphold health and safety standards, and compile accurate reports with photographic documentation

• Engineer: collaborate with the Team Leader to provide exceptional services at customer locations

• Work during both day and night shifts and travel as required during the working day

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing, or duct cleaning is advantageous

• Full UK driving license is necessary

• A valid CSCS card is required

• Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check

• Practical, proactive attitude is essential

• Good physical fitness is required

• Ability to work during both day and night shifts

• Capability to work 10-hour days, including travel time

• Applicants for Team Leader positions must demonstrate the ability to lead site teams, manage productivity, maintain health and safety, and produce accurate photographic reports
