Fire Damper and Hygiene Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections, testing, and drop testing of fire dampers.

• Clean commercial kitchen extraction systems in compliance with TR19 Grease standards.

• Perform cleaning of ventilation and ductwork.

• Identify, document, and report any defects found.

• Complete detailed job reports accompanied by photographic evidence.

• Operate safely and professionally at customer locations.

• For Team Leaders, oversee the team, site productivity, health & safety, and quality of work.

• For 2nd Engineers, assist the Team Leader in executing tasks efficiently and to the required standards.

• Travel to various customer sites across the UK, including overnight stays as necessary.

• Work day and night shifts based on operational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing, ductwork cleaning, or a related role is essential.

• Leadership experience is advantageous for the Team Leader position.

• A willingness to learn and grow within the role for 2nd Engineer positions.

• Must possess a full UK driving licence.

• Hold a valid CSCS card.

• Ability to successfully undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

• A practical, proactive attitude is essential.

• Good physical fitness and readiness to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health & safety practices.

• Effective communication and customer service skills are necessary.
