Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and test fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to NFPA standards.

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install fire suppression systems, including water, clean agents, and chemical systems.

• Arrange inspections for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.

• Execute testing and inspections of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.

• Collaborate with the local fire department to prevent responses during testing.

• Perform repairs on fire alarm and suppression systems.

• Document testing and inspection outcomes in compliance with relevant authority regulations.

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a full-time day shift.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of five years' experience in the field.

• NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms or Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.

• Work location must be in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.

• Capability to conduct on-site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of fire suppression systems.

• Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.

• Must meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, gripping, keyboard use/data entry, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and other related movements.

• Ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning equipment.

• Proficiency in distinguishing colors and assessing distances and spatial relationships.

• Occasional driving required.
