Fire Alarm Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create, compose, and sustain fire alarm system programs for Power Design projects in the production phase.

• Develop effective strategies to enhance the programming methodology for fire alarm systems.

• Take the lead in program design, benchmark testing, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts.

• Utilize technical expertise in fire alarm systems to assist in crafting functional solutions, offering mentorship and support to field technicians.

• Work in conjunction with relevant departments to establish system installation and functionality requirements, ensuring adherence to standardized programming practices.

• Provide assistance in configuring, developing, and documenting programs throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.

• Support technicians remotely during system startups in a timely and precise manner, aligning with program schedule expectations.

• Contribute to the implementation of training objectives aimed at enhancing installation quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience within the fire alarm industry, including significant hands-on technical experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the fire alarm industry, particularly regarding high-rise applications and smoke control systems.

• Strong grasp of fire alarm programming, troubleshooting, and integration with associated building systems.
