Fire Alarm Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Design, compose, and manage fire alarm system programs for Power Design projects during production.

• Implement effective strategies to enhance the methodology of fire alarm systems programming.

• Take the lead in program design, benchmark testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

• Utilize technical expertise in fire alarm systems to aid in the creation of functional solutions, offering mentorship and support to field technicians.

• Work closely with relevant departments to establish system installation and functionality requirements, ensuring adherence to standardized programming practices.

• Offer assistance in configuring, developing, and documenting programs throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Provide remote support to technicians for system startups promptly and accurately, aligning with program schedule expectations.

• Contribute to the implementation of training objectives aimed at enhancing installation quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in the fire alarm industry, with significant hands-on technical experience in the field.

• In-depth knowledge of the fire alarm industry, including high-rise applications and smoke control systems.

• Strong comprehension of fire alarm programming, troubleshooting, and integration with associated building systems.
