Fine Arts Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• OpenEd Teachers play an essential role in guiding students through their academic journey.

• Collaborate closely with students and their families to offer motivation, accountability, and personalized support.

• Assist students in establishing and pursuing individual learning objectives while meticulously tracking their progress throughout the year.

• Create monthly progress reports for families, and evaluate and grade student learning logs.

• Monitor participation in assigned subject areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid teaching certification in Washington, including a Fine Arts endorsement.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong recognition that each child is unique and benefits from tailored learning experiences.

• Kind, organized, patient, and reliable in communication.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).

• Confidence in learning various online tools, systems, and applications.

• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (may reside and work from any pre-approved location).
