• Oversee and manage financial technology operations for both enterprise and individual lines of business.
• Ensure the effective functioning and operation of financial systems, including the global consolidation of financial statements.
• Address technical issues and facilitate problem-solving within the team.
• Provide support for corporate initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
• Manage, consult, and offer guidance on enterprise-wide projects, particularly regarding the impacts on financial systems and compliance.
• Guide and oversee the company’s strategic business initiatives and the resolution of challenges related to financial systems.
• Direct and oversee the enterprise finance technology roadmap, which includes various financial systems acquired through mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in upgrading our enterprise financial ERP to the SAP S4 Hana version.
• Provide support and insights regarding financial system processes and their impacts on Accounting, external brokers, and internal sales.
• Collaborate with Finance, GTS, and Risk and Compliance leadership and teams to support financial system strategies, financial reporting, and analytics for the organization.
• Oversee and govern the financial structure, account mapping, cost centers, and global chart of accounts to ensure consistency across the enterprise.
• Engage closely with business leaders at all levels to identify and align Financial System goals that support both line of business and organizational objectives—both immediate and long-term.
• Develop processes and provide consultation on integration planning, including the establishment of financial structures for newly acquired entities.
• Suggest and implement modifications in financial policies and procedures to meet the needs of the enterprise and foster continuous quality improvements.
• Actively participate in identifying or developing best practices for functional areas of financial technology within the broader finance function.
• Monitor the performance of direct reports; offer timely and constructive coaching and counseling; conduct performance evaluations, and approve performance reviews for direct reports.
• Assess workflow processes, recommend and implement procedural and system changes to enhance service quality for the department’s stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of management experience, including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning tasks, and managing the performance of direct reports.
• Proven knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proven ability to drive positive change by simplifying and enhancing the performance of critical systems while providing effective leadership.
• Familiarity with financial systems roles and authorization management processes, particularly with SAP.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with business partners, staff, external auditors, and vendors.
• Clean credit history as reported by credit report.
• Eligible for bonuses and commissions.
