Financial Statement Specialist – MTDC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Conducting reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with the disclosure requirements outlined in IFRS and IFRS for SME reporting standards on behalf of audit teams.

• Executing financial statement disclosure checklists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of SAICA articles or IAC exam (preferred) or qualification as a Chartered Accountant (SA) (preferred).

• Experience with large and/or publicly listed companies is advantageous.

• Relevant post-article working experience is beneficial.

• Strong sense of accountability.

• Ability to learn quickly.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Office.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on accuracy.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capable of working effectively under pressure.

• Highly deadline-driven.

• Proficient in English.

• Access to a reliable internet connection.
