This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborates closely with learners to create long-term funding strategies for their education, effectively eliminating financial barriers to academic achievement.
• Conducts a thorough review of all available funding options tailored to each learner’s specific situation.
• Identifies financial literacy resources and proposes solutions designed to provide learners with an educational investment that aligns with their aspirations.
• Communicates with learners through various channels, including email, SMS (text messaging), live chat, inbound calls, and outbound calls.
• Diligently documents, maintains, and tracks all learner interactions, data, and progress within the Customer Relations Management system.
• Achieves monthly performance metrics established by the department.
• Engages in recruitment and retention activities, such as participating in virtual open houses, informational sessions, and webinars to provide funding advice to both new and returning learners.
• A completed bachelor’s degree along with two to three (2-3) years of relevant professional experience in a related field.
• Candidates should demonstrate exceptional customer service, time management, creative problem-solving, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy.
• Prior experience in any of the following domains: financial aid, student accounts, student finance, higher education admissions or enrollment management, recruitment, educational or training-industry sales, consultative inside sales for services, call center, or high-volume customer service environments.
• Familiarity with CRM or call center tools and applications, such as dialers, is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Must be capable of meeting and maintaining access requirements for secure federal and/or state websites, including the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
