Financial Software Accounting Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Finance (functional) owner for SIM’s utilization and enhancement of Oracle NetSuite finance software.

• Work in partnership with non-Finance NetSuite users to guarantee seamless integration.

• Collaborate with other stakeholders involved with IT systems at SIM to ensure optimal integrated solutions.

• Spearhead the implementation of NetSuite financials across SIM entities that have yet to adopt the system.

• Provide essential accounting insights to the implementation and development team.

• Achieve proficiency in SIM finance systems and processes.

• Oversee user support for the NetSuite system, coordinating with colleagues in the Finance and IT teams.

• Suggest and implement modifications to SIM’s global finance processes to facilitate best practice utilization of software tools.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of any changes in SIM practices and processes during the software implementation.

• Inform the Global Director of Finance about any significant issues related to the software, along with potential action plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, etc.) or equivalent expertise gained through experience.

• Strong technical background in accounting with the ability to manage complex scenarios.

• Familiarity with accounting software, systems, and processes.

• Capability to delegate responsibilities and lead a team.

• Ability to excel in a team environment while also being proactive and innovative in proposing solutions.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.

• Excellent administrative abilities and computer proficiency, including MS Office programs.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures.

• Experience and aptitude for working remotely from other team members and supervisors.
