This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide information, forecasts, analytics, and insights pertaining to client-reported Net Patient Revenue, initiatives for NPR Lift, cash collections, and revenue from Ensemble's full outsourcing collections.
• Track, forecast, report, and validate the performance of client NPR and measures related to NPR Lift.
• Assist multiple Finance Leaders in their respective functions.
• Analyze trends in patient volumes, patient statusing, service line utilization, acuity, and payor mix.
• Conduct rate-versus-volume analysis on changes in reported revenue.
• Present findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assess NPSR and Net AR results, including trends and variances.
• Comprehend client reserve methodologies and the associated challenges.
• Support monthly client closing discussions.
• Address analytics and data requests aimed at decision-making and mitigating performance risks.
• Manage NPR Lift reporting tools and assist in developing enhanced methods for capturing NPR Lift.
• Document modifications to reporting, processes, and procedures while ensuring consistency.
• Analyze operational metrics that influence monthly cash collections.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand anticipated cash trends.
• Forecast cash collections and relay projections to stakeholders.
• Work alongside accounting on client adjustments.
• Review monthly revenue results and communicate any variances from expectations.
• Complete assigned tasks punctually and within the defined scope.
• Ensure the accuracy of reported information.
• Assess processes and tools while suggesting improvements for efficiency.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Collect records, reports, data, and correspondence for leadership reporting purposes.
• Provide ad hoc reporting as necessary.
• Establish and nurture interdepartmental relationships.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant job experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal, time-management, organizational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient in performing computations accurately and efficiently, including identifying and calculating ratios and percentages.
• Strong data management skills, particularly in relational database management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in financial or accounting roles within the healthcare sector.
• Understanding of the revenue cycle structure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Business Objects, and SQL programming.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification is required within 9 months of hire.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and undergo patient confidentiality training.
