Financial Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for accounting control, reconciliation, and compensation of cash in and cash out channels in deposit accounts.

• Rigorously validate financial information and daily balances for general use and decision-making within the department.

• Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with financial operations.

• Proactively detect improvement opportunities through the design of process automations and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

• Ensure accurate accounting entries in SAP and enhance bank reconciliations.

• Integrally optimize the payments ecosystem, ensuring financial integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Implement and execute financial controls that ensure the validation of daily balances and the correct daily closure of operations related to cash control.

• Lead and optimize the implementation, improvement, and execution processes in the accounting reconciliation and compensation of cash in and cash out channels.

• Validate, structure, and ensure compliance and timely delivery of regulatory and operational reports for the area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

• Postgraduate studies or specialization in administrative or financial areas (Desirable).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting control, auditing, and advanced financial roles.

• Experience in financial environments, the Fintech sector, or mass payment ecosystems (Desirable).

• Practical knowledge of AI Agentica (Desirable).

• Strong experience in accounting control, accounting records, and thorough validation of daily balances.

• Solid knowledge in the analysis, control, and recording of discretionary adjustments in financial accounting.

• Demonstrable experience in structuring, validating, and submitting financial/regulatory reports (preferably QMR, Apple Pay, and F466).

• Advanced knowledge and handling of the SAP system (financial modules FI/CO or equivalents).

• Proven experience in bank reconciliation and compensation of cash in and cash out channels.

• Practical knowledge of low-value payment ecosystems and transactional gateways.
