Financial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance the company's financial model, including plan-versus-actuals, cash flow forecasting, and scenario analysis.

• Gather and reconcile data from primary sources such as Stripe, bank accounts, and Revolut, ensuring discrepancies are identified before they become apparent to others.

• Ensure transparency in the cost structure, eliminating any "hidden" line items, with every figure being traceable to its origin.

• Prepare weekly financial reports for the founder and the board of directors.

• Collaborate with accounting and tax teams while implementing quality control measures in this domain.

• Document processes to ensure the function is transferable and not reliant on a single individual.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in financial planning and management accounting within a startup or digital/SaaS environment.

• Proficient in working with Stripe and bank statements, capable of assembling comprehensive insights from raw data.

• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with a track record of building and reconstructing financial models.

• A keen eye for detail, with a tendency to investigate primary sources—discrepancies like "$5k doesn't reconcile" should prompt further investigation, not rounding off.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools, as we are an AI-native organization.

• Self-sufficient, able to impose order in chaotic situations without pre-existing instructions.

• Proficient in English and Russian at a C1 level or higher.
