Financial Management Transformation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Assist Department of War clients by implementing initiatives that revamp essential financial management functions and operations.

• Improve technical data structures and automate processes by reengineering business workflows.

• Boost the effectiveness of technical data operations.

• Utilize technology solutions to provide actionable insights.

• Increase operational efficiency and facilitate audit readiness.

• Update financial processes to meet federal standards.

• Promote excellence in finance and accounting within Guidehouse’s Financial Management practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid and active "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or Statistics.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is necessary.

• An advanced degree, along with certifications in Databricks, PowerBI, Azure, AWS, or other data engineering-related fields, is considered advantageous.

• Familiarity with Army financial systems, including ADVANA, GFEBS, and LMP, is preferred.

• Previous experience supporting federal audit readiness or CFO functions within DoW or similar entities is a plus.

• Experience in data analytics, automation, and AI tools is an asset.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik), data platforms (e.g., Databricks), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is beneficial.

• Strong foundational technological skills in Python, SQL, Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), Power Apps, Power Automate, Databricks, and PowerBI are desirable.
