Financial Management Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead teams and collaborate with clients to enhance financial management processes and strengthen internal controls

• Implement business process re-engineering initiatives

• Perform risk assessments

• Combine data management, analysis, and visualization capabilities with accounting and financial processes

• Establish continuous audit readiness and fraud prevention measures

• Facilitate client engagement and present to senior executives

• Convert policies and standards into actionable programmatic steps and project execution

⛳️ Requirements

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

• A minimum of TEN (10) years of experience in financial management

• Excellent communication skills to support client engagement and present to senior executives

• Proven experience in translating policies and standards into programmatic actions and project execution

• Direct experience with the Department of War financial improvement and audit readiness (FIAR) initiatives is a plus

• Familiarity with non-appropriated funds is desirable

• Up to 25% travel may be required
