• Aid in the identification and resolution of QA bugs associated with data pipelines and processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Engage in the design, construction, and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Execute data transformations, cleansing, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve pipeline efficiency.
• Assume responsibility for smaller features within the data pipeline.
• Develop code for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Lead a minor independent project focused on data engineering.
• Select a topic of interest (e.g., enhancing pipeline performance, automating data validation).
• Share your findings and recommendations with the team.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Skilled in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Familiar with Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Functions.
• Experienced in data integration using APIs.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of Gen AI and ML concepts or prior experience in these areas.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Capable of effectively documenting business requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Visual design skills are a bonus.
