This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based data pipelines, queries, and reports to facilitate financial and operational analytics.
• Analyze and prepare financial, operational, and clinical datasets to assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to aid leaders in interpreting trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with the Finance team to enhance data quality, automate reporting processes, and boost analytical capabilities.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic projects, cost optimization initiatives, and performance enhancement efforts.
• Convert complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for financial and operational stakeholders.
• Uphold data governance, integrity, and security standards throughout reporting procedures.
• Work cross-functionally with IT, Revenue Cycle, and Operations teams to synchronize data definitions and reporting requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or a related field, coupled with 2–5 years of practical SQL experience, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, and stored procedures, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL).
• Skilled in data visualization tools (Power BI preferred; Tableau or Qlik are acceptable).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Proven experience handling large datasets and developing automated reporting workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Background in healthcare services, managed care, population health, or revenue cycle analytics.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, or FP&A processes.
• Exposure to Python or R for data transformation or statistical analysis.
• Understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and healthcare data compliance requirements.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• A collaborative team player capable of managing priorities independently.
