Financial Controller

📋 Description

• Supervise the generation of precise and timely financial statements, encompassing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and prompt completion.

• Establish robust financial controls and risk management processes to protect company assets.

• Monitor financial performance while identifying potential risks and opportunities.

• Formulate and execute strategies to mitigate financial risks.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Oversee tax filings, audits, and planning activities.

• Optimize tax strategies to reduce tax liabilities.

• Manage cash flow and enhance working capital efficiency.

• Supervise banking relationships and treasury operations.

• Implement effective treasury strategies to alleviate financial risks.

• Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.

• Demonstrated experience as a Group Financial Controller or a similar role in a complex, multinational organization.

• Strong grasp of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.

• Experience in establishing finance operations and creating financial systems and infrastructure to support a high-growth organization.

• Advanced expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.

• Understanding of large and intricate business structures and groups.

• Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).
