Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• You are responsible for the complete P&L, overseeing the monthly close, management accounts, and financial reporting to the CEO.

• You maintain a dynamic cash flow forecast that is continuously updated rather than generated on a monthly basis.

• You collaborate with the marketing team to support the weekly financial forecast, converting planned expenditures into revenue, margin, and cash flow projections.

• You oversee Exact Online as the primary financial system and actively engage in building AI projects in Claude to automate routine reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with DTC or e-commerce brands, encompassing the entire model.

• Proficiency in Exact Online.

• Ownership of cash flow management with actual purchasing cycles.

• Financial literacy in performance marketing.

• A proactive and commercially driven approach.

• Familiarity with Shopify and Xcore.

• An active builder of AI workflows.
