Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily accounting functions, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, tax laws, and internal control standards.

• Assess financial performance and offer insights to management.

• Track operational expenses, profitability, and essential financial indicators.

• Facilitate audits and collaborate with external accountants and financial entities.

• Assist executive leadership with financial planning and strategic decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Preferred background in transportation, logistics, trucking, or container operations.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting practices.

• Proficient in accounting and ERP software.

• Advanced skills in Excel and financial analysis.

• CPA certification is an advantage.
