Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the financial records across all entities

• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes with precision

• Manage financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly financial statements

• Oversee cash flow reporting and forecasting

• Handle regulatory, tax, and compliance procedures

• Develop and uphold accounting systems and internal controls

• Collaborate with banks, lenders, and financial advisors

• Create and sustain department- and entity-level budgets

• Discover cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements

• Work alongside the technical team to automate workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting

• Previous roles as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or senior accounting lead

• Proven track record in managing month-end and year-end closing processes

• Expertise in reconciliations and GAAP-compliant financial statements

• Experience in budget-to-actual reporting and cash flow forecasting

• Practical knowledge of multi-entity accounting and consolidation

• Familiarity with tax and regulatory compliance requirements

• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage Intacct

• Background in developing or enhancing financial processes

• Solid understanding of internal controls

• Ability to engage directly with the CEO and departmental leaders
