Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial operations at Adelaide Metrics, ensuring precision, efficiency, and robust financial controls throughout the organization.

• Manage billing and accounts receivable functions, financial reporting, cash flow oversight, and compliance initiatives.

• Offer insights that facilitate strategic decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Direct the month-end closing procedures and guarantee accurate financial reporting.

• Create financial reports and analyses for executive assessment.

• Track financial KPIs and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Establish and uphold financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Assist in cash flow planning and monitoring to maintain financial stability.

• Oversee comprehensive billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and promptness.

• Coordinate financial audits and aid in audit preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience (4+ years) as a Financial Controller or in a comparable position.

• Advanced skills in QuickBooks and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Acts as a problem solver and contributes innovative ideas.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capable of working effectively in a team or independently, managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
