Financial Consultant – Public Funding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clients' economic potential and identify appropriate public funding opportunities for investment and innovation initiatives.

• Independently plan, organize, and oversee funding projects from the initial evaluation to the successful submission of applications.

• Prepare economic and financial reports while deriving strategic recommendations.

• Facilitate communication between funding organizations and clients.

• Manage a broad portfolio of senior-level clients and effectively prioritize projects.

• Assist business developers during client meetings by providing technical expertise and strategic insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Law, Financial Management, or a comparable commercial qualification; alternatively, a relevant vocational qualification such as tax clerk or certified accounting specialist (Bilanzbuchhalter).

• Relevant professional experience in public funding, consulting, or the finance sector.

• Extensive knowledge of the German R&D tax credit (Forschungszulage) or similar funding programs.

• Ability to quickly understand complex issues and think in a structured way.

• Skill in developing convincing solutions for challenging problems.

• Confident and authoritative communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Very good proficiency in German.

• Business-fluent in English.
