Financial Clearance Associate I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary support for the Patient Connection Center at Piedmont Healthcare

• Examine accounts for hospital services to ensure all details are accurate before patient arrival

• Validate patient insurance information

• Confirm patient benefits

• Identify authorization requirements

• Initiate and secure pre-certification or authorization

• Generate estimates to assess pre-service patient liability

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is mandatory

• At least 1 year of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance experience is required

• 3 years of experience in the healthcare Revenue Cycle is preferred

• Prior experience with Epic systems is preferred

• Certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association is preferred

• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative is preferred

• No specific licenses or certifications are required
