Financial Analytics Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee data management to support and influence decisions related to daily operations, strategic planning, and specific business performance matters.

• Facilitate financial forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making through the creation, implementation, and upkeep of risk score analytics.

• Accountable for operating a monthly risk score model to forecast current-year risk scores.

• Refresh reporting displays with model outcomes.

• Identify month-over-month factors driving change.

• Utilize tools such as SQL, Python, and Visual Studio Code for modeling, result analysis, and maintaining model accuracy over time.

• Convert findings into clear insights and communicate the financial implications of risk score variations to business partners and leadership.

• Assist in continuous model improvement by pinpointing outdated assumptions and integrating updated data or methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• 5 years of technical experience.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python.

• Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting, and analyzing data to identify, explain, and influence variances and trends.

• Ability to elucidate variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques.

• Experience managing data to support and influence decisions concerning daily operations, strategic planning, and specific business performance issues.

• Willingness to travel to Louisville, KY, less than 5% of the time (if not local).
