Financial Analyst – Investigator, Grants

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create global investigator site budgets to support the proposal process, collaborating with vendors and third parties according to proposal production schedules.

• Aid in the coordination and accountability for the proposal preparation process.

• Assist the Proposal Team in the comprehensive development of project budgets utilizing Excel-based costing tools and financial formulas.

• Engage in strategy meetings.

• Recognize key elements in proposal budgets and client materials, and incorporate them into investigator grant site budgets.

• Construct complete site budgets that reflect study design and assumptions outlined in the proposal.

• Support change orders for ongoing studies, including the development or revision of investigator grant budgets and justifications.

• Communicate with clients to assist project teams in delivering change orders and necessary adjustments.

• Maintain departmental records and fulfill internal/intercompany reporting requirements, including financial analysis of budgeted studies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• At least 3 years of experience in site budget and/or proposal development within the life sciences field.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently to deliver high-quality, client-ready operational budgets and proposals.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a knack for quickly shifting priorities.

• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality.

• High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

• Minimal travel required for company meetings.

• Solid understanding of investigator grants development and site budgeting techniques.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Product Suite.

• Experience using Grants Manager or similar tools for investigator site budgeting.

• Knowledge of additional customer-related management tools.

• Basic understanding of medical terminology.
