Financial Analyst Intern – DOW Skillbridge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Assist the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks.

• Support payroll auditing, reporting, and reconciliation activities.

• Acquire knowledge in workforce management and HRIS functions utilizing UKG.

• Prepare and sustain financial reports and dashboards.

• Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.

• Engage in budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Learn about labor forecasting and financial planning principles.

• Aid in budget-to-actual variance analysis and management reporting.

• Familiarize with invoicing processes, revenue tracking, and accounts receivable operations.

• Gain proficiency in using NetSuite and UKG financial systems.

• Assist in the review and analysis of financial statements.

• Support special projects concerning finance, payroll, and business operations.

• Participate in Finance team meetings and cross-departmental business discussions.

• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee data.

• Complete designated training modules, project tasks, and professional development activities.

• Report directly to the Controller.

• Service Member approved for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).

• Ability to swiftly learn new systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk on a computer.

• Effective communication skills are essential.

• Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
