Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver financial analysis, reporting, and business collaboration across various functions.

• Assist the Strategic Finance Manager with ongoing and strategic forecasting and planning initiatives.

• Manage the budgeting process and in-year re-forecast cycle from start to finish.

• Collect data, develop financial models, and conduct variance analysis.

• Aid in the financial close process by generating source materials.

• Ensure accurate and timely accruals in coordination with cross-functional partners.

• Create automated reporting and FP&A processes.

• Utilize AI tools and/or FP&A software to enhance finance workflows.

• Support operational and strategic decision-making through FP&A insights.

• Work collaboratively with Operations and other cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.

• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a comparable analytical role.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Capable of creating forecasts and variance analysis from the ground up.

• Strong understanding of the three financial statements and their underlying drivers.

• Ability to relate operational KPIs to financial line items.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating variances to non-financial stakeholders.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code or Codex.

• Nice to have: experience in automating finance-specific workflows or utilizing AI to enhance output.

• Nice to have: knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Nice to have: experience with planning tools such as Vena, Pigment, Data Rails, or Cube.

• Nice to have: exposure to ERP systems, including NetSuite.

• Nice to have: auditing experience.

• Nice to have: background in consumer, CPG, or DTC sectors.
