• Assist our pharmacy Account Management (AM) team in delivering outstanding client service to enhance customer retention.
• Provide modeling and analytics that facilitate the pricing strategies for our RxB clients.
• Conduct analytics and issue resolution for Account Management (AM).
• Offer recommendations on Plans, Custom Ad/Hoc Analytics, Custom Plan Design Analytics, and Disruptions/Analytics for groups transitioning PBM/Formulary/Pricing/Maintenance Programs, etc.
• Act as a Data Translator and provide comprehensive support for financial performance reports.
• Prepare Effective Rate Reports, conduct Reverse Repricing, and perform Pricing Comparisons and Rebate Projections.
• Collaborate weekly with the team to manage the Stop Loss Inbox, addressing new requests, issues, and ad-hoc production.
• Assist the AM team in the creation of all client-related financial performance reports.
• Deliver detailed interpretations of financial reports to illustrate the performance of our client contracts.
• Analyze instances of underperformance against guarantees in effective rates, rebates, etc.
• Support the AM team in developing the value proposition concerning financial guarantee performance.
• Draft broker/client-ready notes.
• Participate in reviews with brokers/clients.
• Analyze Proposed Savings Projections compared to initial savings estimates for new groups.
• Investigate data to identify potential issues and assess financial impacts.
• Create custom analytics/modeling for ad-hoc projects as required.
• Provide recommendations for plans based on available programs and current client configurations.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all account-related contract guarantee reports and offer training to the AM team as necessary.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing.
• At least 5 years of analytics experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
• Strong knowledge of PBM contracts, adjudication logic, and operational processes.
• Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis of claims data to assess contract performance, identify issues, and communicate findings in a clear, user-friendly manner.
• High level of data proficiency, with an exceptional capability to work with and manipulate Excel and other data tools (SAS, SQL, Snowflake, etc.).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• 1-3 years of Underwriting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with SFDC or other CRM platforms is preferred.
