Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee communication and maintain relationships with payment providers to ensure adherence to established terms.

• Track and manage balances across various payment systems to guarantee adequate liquidity for payouts and settlements.

• Prepare and oversee settlement requests, player payouts, and company withdrawals.

• Reconcile transaction turnovers, balances, settlement reports, and statements from providers.

• Investigate discrepancies, pinpoint root causes, and liaise with providers or internal teams until issues are resolved.

• Manage provider costs, fees, exchange rates, rolling reserves, and contractual agreements.

• Evaluate PSP performance and offer recommendations for cost optimization.

• Maintain and revise documentation related to payment procedures and reconciliation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, finance operations, payment operations, PSP reconciliation, or financial analysis.

• Experience collaborating with PSPs, payment providers, banks, fintech products, or payment-related data.

• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and adept at managing large datasets.

• Familiarity with financial reconciliation, provider statements, settlement reports, transaction turnovers, balance management, or routine financial reporting.

• Understanding of fundamental financial processes, cost control, and management accounting principles.

• Ability to detect discrepancies in financial data, investigate underlying causes, and propose solutions.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sense of ownership, and capacity to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers.

• Intermediate+ English proficiency for written communication.

• Nice to have: Experience in iGaming, fintech, e-commerce, or retail.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with rolling reserves, commissions, fees, exchange rates, or payment cost analysis.

• Nice to have: Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence tools.

• Nice to have: Basic knowledge of SQL.
