Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Consolidates, analyzes, and reports on financial results monthly, quarterly, and annually while comparing them to key performance indicators, including plans, historical results, and other defined benchmarks;

• Assists assigned regions and lines of business with forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, and on-demand reporting;

• Develops and maintains regional templates and reports to streamline monthly and quarterly reporting processes;

• Provides analytical support and contributes to the preparation of financial presentations for meetings with senior leadership;

• Aids in the annual and long-term strategic planning processes;

• Creates dynamic and insightful reports utilizing business intelligence tools;

• Develops and sustains dashboards and scorecards to enhance performance visibility and inform decision-making;

• Analyzes internal financial data alongside partner and supplier expenditures to pinpoint trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement;

• Drives critical initiatives that support financial objectives concerning revenue, profit, and cash flow;

• Supports operational finance controls to ensure audit readiness;

• Participates in special projects that align with enterprise-wide initiatives as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a financial analyst is required;

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is necessary;

• Experience in senior living, foodservice, or hospitality is preferred;

• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities;

• Capability to interact and effectively communicate with senior management and diverse teams;

• Proficiency in coordinating multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively;

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence outcomes without formal authority;

• Sound business judgment and the capacity to learn quickly and adapt to new situations;

• Advanced proficiency in Excel;

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau;

• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP/accounting systems;

• Experience with Ramp or a comparable expense management/spend control platform;

• Proven experience working with financial data, including P&L, budgets, and forecasting.
