Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Familiarize yourself with our GTM structure, systems, and the monthly close/forecast calendar.

• Develop GTM reporting, including monthly variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and budget-versus-actual reviews, with assistance from the FP&A Lead.

• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, participating in their team planning and pipeline reviews.

• Gain a thorough understanding of our sales compensation plans and the current-year budget assumptions.

• Take full ownership of the GTM forecast cycle from start to finish, encompassing headcount, commissions, and program expenditures.

• Act as the primary finance liaison for GTM leaders (e.g., VP of Sales or Marketing), addressing their ad hoc inquiries and proactively identifying risks and opportunities within their data.

• Prepare and deliver your first complete board or QBR package section focusing on GTM metrics.

• Become an integral and trusted advisor to GTM leadership, influencing decisions related to hiring rates, territory/quota design, and spending allocations.

• Initiate a cross-functional analysis from the ground up (e.g., new segment economics, campaign ROI deep-dive, or the impact of commission plan redesign).

• Have executed at least one process enhancement that significantly decreases manual effort or boosts forecast accuracy.

• Assist with pricing and packaging analysis, deal desk economics, and investment cases for new markets or segments as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or RevOps/Sales Finance, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based organization.

• Solid understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, NRR/GRR) and their relationship to GTM performance.

• Proficient in advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling; familiarity with FP&A/EPM tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM, with the ability to extract and validate pipeline/bookings data.

• Exceptional communication skills: capable of translating financial analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities; adept at managing multiple deadlines (monthly close, forecast cycles, board preparation) simultaneously.
