Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Ensure that all contractual commitments to clients, including hours worked and deliverables, are consistently fulfilled.

• Maintain regular, proactive, and effective communication with leadership, internal staff, prospects, and clients.

• Identify further client requirements and suggest solution-oriented services.

• Always uphold strict confidentiality concerning client, company, and employee information.

• Precisely track and document both billable and non-billable hours.

• Collaborate with CPAs on year-end reporting and related processes.

• Prepare and analyze year-end financial statements.

• Generate and review Production versus Income reports.

• Conduct due diligence and prepare pro forma reports for clients.

• Perform detailed expense analysis to aid client decision-making.

• Review and reconcile accounts in the general ledger.

• Develop and present comprehensive sales and production reports.

• Manage producer commissions with precision and timeliness.

• Oversee trust banking management to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Create and analyze trending profit and loss (P&L) statements.

• Assist in budgeting processes to support agencies in achieving financial objectives.

• Monitor and manage carrier volume reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Insurance Accounting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational abilities.

• CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently.

• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace suitable for confidential financial tasks.
