This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Conduct interviews with candidates who are applying for financial aid to determine their eligibility.
• Encourage applicants to reach their maximum potential and strive for excellence.
• Ensure that applicants are treated with fairness, respect, impartiality, and objectivity, adhering to all accreditation and compliance standards.
• Communicate with applicants promptly, ensuring that the customer service provided meets or exceeds expectations.
• Review applicant documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Student Finance and the Associate Director of Financial Aid.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in higher education financial aid or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of the financial aid process.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including proficiency in phone and email communication.
• Strong presentation, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative setting.
• Proficiency in working within a virtual environment, utilizing various software applications concurrently, such as MS Office, Canvas, CampusVue, Gmail, and Zoom.
