Financial Accounting Trainer – Learning Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist participants throughout their professional qualification journey.

• Offer support for technical inquiries related to financial accounting, tax law, and accounting practices.

• Facilitate discussions on learning progress and document participants' advancements.

• Identify participants' support requirements and create appropriate solutions.

• Encourage independent learning and promote effective learning organization.

• Aid participants in utilizing digital learning tools and platforms.

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and internal stakeholders.

• Enhance the development of competencies among course participants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant vocational training paired with professional experience as a financial accountant or tax clerk.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and double-entry bookkeeping as per the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Solid knowledge of annual financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash-basis accounting (EÜR).

• Strong knowledge of German tax legislation, especially VAT, income tax, and the German Fiscal Code (AO).

• Advanced practical expertise in DATEV.

• Familiarity with cost and activity accounting (KLR) and fundamental controlling principles.

• Prior experience as a trainer or lecturer is advantageous.

• Proof of pedagogical skills.
