Finance Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Enhance essential finance workflows throughout order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, planning, and closing by collecting requirements.

• Assist in the configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing management of NetSuite and associated finance tools.

• Minimize manual tasks and operational risks by developing automations and documenting procedures.

• Enable Finance leaders to make informed decisions by enhancing data quality.

• Lead projects from defining problems to implementation by overseeing requirements and change management.

• Ensure Whatnot maintains its rapid pace while upholding excellent systems hygiene and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with business or finance systems.

• Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, closing, revenue, procurement, or FP&A.

• Practical experience with NetSuite and Zip configuration, including workflows, saved searches, roles, permissions, forms, and basic administration.

• Proven ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders, convert them into system solutions, and lead projects through testing and launch.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a high-growth environment.

• A low-ego, team-oriented mindset.

• A keen interest in AI and automation, with a preference for utilizing modern tools.
