Finance Ops Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of essential finance operations such as Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, timesheet governance, and management reporting for an IT/service-oriented organization.

• Oversee the entire Accounts Receivable process: invoicing, collections, aging, dispute resolution, and cash flow management.

• Guarantee accurate billing through the use of timesheets, contracts, rate cards, and project milestones.

• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, encompassing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Maintain balance sheet schedules and assist with both internal and external audits.

• Supervise timesheet tracking, validation, and compliance across various projects and resources.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards, frequently utilizing Excel and manual data consolidation.

• Collaborate with sales, delivery, HR, and leadership teams to address billing, reporting, and process-related challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable and Record to Report within an IT/services context.

• Proficient in Excel and reporting techniques.

• Familiarity with manual or Excel-intensive reporting processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
