Finance Operator, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop dashboards, models, automated reports, and data checks that are consistently applied across every company we launch.

• Integrate data proficiency with financial and accounting knowledge to streamline workflows.

• Construct cohort analyses from raw transactional data.

• Generate automated financial alerts that identify issues early on.

• Articulate the significance of data to CEOs, boards, and cross-functional teams.

• Address a comprehensive range of financial inquiries across an expanding portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related analytical role in finance.

• Ability to interpret a P&L, grasp unit economics, and articulate the business implications of numbers.

• Proficient in SQL to resolve financial queries.

• Experience in building solutions from unstructured, real-world financial data.

• Strong understanding of revenue recognition within at least one business model, sufficient to justify it to an auditor.

• Awareness of the distinction between technically accurate outputs and financially sound results.

• Experience in developing a cohort model from raw data.

• Familiarity with a multi-entity operational environment.

• Proficiency with Aleph, Looker, Metabase, or a similar FP&A or BI platform at a build level.

• Experience in automating reporting processes that previously required manual input.

• Sufficient accounting knowledge to identify miscoded transactions.
