Finance Manager, T&O Group FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Play a vital role in enhancing financial readiness and executing FP&A cycles.

• Deliver financial leadership and transparency regarding essential FP&A processes tied to Tools & Outdoor P&L performance.

• Conduct comprehensive and insightful reporting and analysis of monthly, forecast, and operational plan financial data.

• Collaborate with global financial leaders across various segments and strategic business units to produce consolidated financial reporting and analysis.

• Aid in developing narratives for month-end and quarterly reviews, focusing on analytical insights and presentation slide creation.

• Offer guidance and financial support to the Business Unit FP&A teams.

• Ensure alignment of financial processes, governance, and reporting structures across the T&O matrix environment.

• Build strong partnerships and maintain effective communication with BU’s FP&A teams to monitor, consolidate, and report financial data.

• Continuously adapt and update templates and processes to align with evolving analytical and reporting needs.

• Oversee planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes by managing centralized finance calendar requirements.

• Provide critical insights and analysis to T&O and Corporate finance leadership.

• Facilitate the month-end process for T&O FP&A, delivering valuable financial reporting and variance analysis on sales and margins.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.

• Over 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or business finance.

• Exceptional business partnering, communication, and influencing abilities.

• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Power BI or Snowflake is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of SBD systems and processes, including EPM and HFM.

• Capable of problem-solving and willing to embrace ad-hoc tasks.

• Positive, can-do attitude.
