This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Work closely with the European Finance Team on consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Manage quarterly and annual audits of intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with international financial reporting obligations and ensure consistency between U.S. and European entities.
• Create ad hoc financial analyses and reports for leadership and corporate stakeholders.
• Supervise customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively manage outstanding receivables.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to guarantee accurate and timely billing.
• Address client inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, and account balances.
• Oversee the processing, approvals, and payment schedules for vendor invoices.
• Manage ACH and wire transfer payments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment inquiries.
• Ensure precise expense coding and proper allocation to budgets and cost centers.
• Keep accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Record and review all monthly accounting transactions, including revenue, expenses, payroll, intercompany activity, and treasury transactions.
• Conduct revenue recognition and related month-end adjustments.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across systems.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze historical spending trends and create financial projections.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to management.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and treasury activities.
• Administer profit distribution schedules.
• Coordinate banking, insurance, and corporate finance activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and reports for corporate stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor one Finance Assistant.
• Review accounting work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Set priorities and provide guidance for daily accounting operations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, tax, and corporate reporting requirements.
• Support external audits and tax filings.
• Maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is **required.**
• CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Required experience in multinational or international organizations.
• Preferred experience in supporting intercompany accounting and consolidated financial reporting.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (Business by Design) is essential.
• Experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively across international teams and cultures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
