Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Prepare precise and timely financial reports at the end of each period in compliance with IFRS standards.

• Fulfill statutory and regulatory obligations, including VAT returns, FCA reporting, and annual financial statements.

• Lead and oversee the external audit process.

• Ensure high-quality reporting through various ERP systems such as SAGE Intacct and Xero.

• Collaborate with shared service teams to facilitate seamless operations in Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, and Treasury.

• Maintain and enhance financial controls and processes.

• Assist in aligning systems with a robust control framework.

• Generate monthly management reports, featuring variance analysis and performance insights.

• Work alongside teams in Product, HR, Finance, and Marketing.

• Aid in budgeting, forecasting, and investment decision-making processes.

• Foster strong relationships to enhance financial understanding and accountability.

• Contribute to system integration and finance transformation projects.

• Support the transition from external accounting firms to in-house financial operations.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of financial reporting, with IFRS knowledge preferred.

• Familiarity with UK statutory and regulatory requirements, including Companies House, HMRC, and FCA.

• Experience with ERP systems is beneficial, particularly with SAGE Intacct or Xero.

• Excellent analytical skills and comfortable working with data, including proficiency in Excel.

• Understanding of essential finance processes such as P2P, O2C, payroll, tax, and treasury.

• Background in a finance role within the industry.

• Experience in a multi-entity or B2B setting is advantageous.

• Exposure to audits, external advisors, or finance transformation initiatives is a plus.

• Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• This position is designated as UK remote, offering flexibility in your location, though ideally situated along or near the M4 corridor, as the role requires occasional travel to Haddenham (Buckinghamshire), London, and South Wales.
