Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities for SG&A departments.

• Evaluate financial performance and deliver actionable insights to the leadership team.

• Compile and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Track cash flow, expenses, and profitability to guarantee financial health.

• Create and enforce financial controls, policies, and procedures.

• Collaborate with department leaders to facilitate strategic initiatives and manage costs.

• Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for solutions.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

• Supervise a team of two, managing their daily activities and offering coaching and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (MBA or CPA preferred).

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting positions.

• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

• Expertise in financial systems and advanced skills in Excel.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication abilities with the capacity to present to senior leadership.

• Keen attention to detail and aptitude for managing multiple priorities.
